when your boyfriend tells you he loves you, how do you know he means it? i suppose you just know.. like actually being in love i guess.. you just, know.. or think you know.. i suppose if you can doubt something like that, then it's not real... but what if you care about someone so much... it's not the same is it..

Love's a weird word.. it has too many meanings for one short little word..

There's love, as in 'love thy neighbour'.. y'know, like you love people, all your friends, family, and stuff.. like you care about them all, but yer not exactly gonna ask them all to marry you ;)

There's love, as in falling in love with someone, being happy with them, wanting to make them happy... caring about them...

And there's Love with a big L... all of the obove, plus you'd do anything for that person, you know that person is going to make you happy, and you will do anything humanly possible to make them happy too. and you can't imagine your life without them. being with them, you never want to leave. being without them, you think about them the whole time... and would travel the world just to see them.

but when you say 'I Love You' to your boyfriend/girlfriend, which does it mean? if you love them like your best friend, is it the sort of thing you tell them? you don't tell your best friend that you love them all the time do you.. well i dunno, some people might.. but you know what i mean...
